Its infrared motion sensor detects body heat from up to 12 feet away, triggering a bright incandescent bulb that lights up for 45-55 seconds and then automatically shuts off. For continuous light, simply switch to "Light" mode. Takes two AA batteries, which will last 4-6 hours in "Light" mode, or 150-200 hours in "Sensor" mode. Includes hanging cord.
